Alain El Sakhawi

Alain El Sakhawi was born in France and grew up in Paris from a French mother and an Egyptian father. He lived between Paris and Sicily which is the meeting point between the cultures of his ancestors. This gave him a great source of inspiration. He comes from martial arts, artistic gymnastics, comic book drawing and my first profession for 15 years is dance. 

Since October 2019, he moved to Rome, to follow an intensive program of Cinematography specialized in D.I.T (Digital Imaging Technician). As a filmmaker, his work is articulated around the links between architecture, dance, editing to rhythm, the body to the environment, dance and cinema through cinematic reference.
