DAN.CIN.LAB développe depuis 2009 des projets croisant Danse et Cinéma autour de sujets de société, porteurs d’une démarche inclusive transversale intégrant personnes ordinaires, dites valides ou non-diagnostiquées, et personnes en situation de handicap ou de fragilité. L’équipe de DAN.CIN.LAB est engagée depuis 2017 dans un cycle de création de 4 ans autour du sujet suivant : « des mutations intimes aux grandes migrations collectives ».
Le projet ROSEAU qui s’inscrit dans ce cycle est le fruit d‘échanges développés autour de cette thématique par DAN.CIN.LAB avec 3 structures partenaires du territoire :
- la SINGA / association créatrice d’opportunités d’engagement et de collaboration entre les personnes réfugiées et leur société d’accueil,
- le DEAT 42 / établissement expérimental qui accompagne les jeunes en rupture de parcours pour leur permettre de se stabiliser et de construire leurs projets d’adultes grâce à des outils paramédicaux-sociaux, psychologiques et éducatifs,
- le Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Massenet de Saint-Etienne / établissement de formation artistique en musique, danse et théâtre.
Ces échanges ont abouti à une volonté partagée de réaliser une création pluridisciplinaire mêlant danse, image et musique.
Au travers de ce projet artistique construit collectivement, les participants pourront ré-interroger la place de chacun – individuelle et au sein du groupe, son parcours et son avenir possible au cœur du territoire, et plus largement, de notre société.
27 participants, professionnels et amateurs, ont été impliqués au processus de création ROSEAU qui devait aboutir à Saint-Etienne en juin 2020, à la présentation de la création pluridisciplinaire inclusive du même nom.
Suite au confinement et au regard des contraintes sanitaires liées à la pandémie de Covid-19, l’équipe artistique et 16 participants ont crée un film dansé de 28 minutes autour des parcours migratoires de 3 personnes du territoire, sous forme de documentaire de création dont la sortie est prévue début 2021.
DAN.CIN.LAB has been developing projects that combine dance and cinema around social issues, with a transversal inclusive approach that integrates ordinary people, non-disabled or undiagnosed, and people with disabilities or fragilities. Since 2017, DAN.CIN.LAB team has been involved in a 4-year creative cycle around the following subject: « from intimate mutations to major collective migrations ».
The ROSEAU project, which is part of this cycle, is the result of exchanges developed around this theme by DAN.CIN.LAB with 3 partner structures in the area:
- SINGA / an association that creates opportunities for engagement and collaboration between refugees and their host society,
- DEAT 42 / experimental establishment that supports young people who have lost their way to enable them to stabilize and build their adult projects using paramedical-social, psychological and educational tools,
- The Massenet Conservatory for Performing Arts of Saint-Etienne / regional artistic training institution for music, dance and theatre.
These exchanges led to a shared desire to create a multidisciplinary creation combining dance, image and music.
Through this artistic project built collectively, the participants will be able to re-examine the place of each person – individually and within the group, their journey and their possible future at the heart of the territory, and more broadly, of our society.
27 participants, professionals and amateurs, have been committed in ROSEAU for a multidisciplinary and inclusive creation that will be performed in Saint-Etienne in July 2020.
Following the confinement and in view of the sanitary constraints linked to the pandemic of Covid-19, the artistic team and 16 participants created a 28-minute dance film around the migratory journeys of 3 people from the territory, in the form of a creative documentary to be released in 2021.
